The first time I met him, he came pulling and tugging a tall rolling luggage. He wore a striking turban. I was wondering why he was traveling with luggage and if he had just arrived from afar. Then he stopped right infront of Jey Raggaveindra's studio. Jey came out to greet him and we were introduced. Sesatre Bansuri was invited by Jey to beautify his music with some pieces of the flute and he did a good job of it. The moment he opened the bag there was a vast assortment of flutes of various sizes and length.
Both the music director and the musician got to work immediately. If I only knew him as a musician then at the studio, later when Gowri Arumugam arranged for a photo shoot at her apartment only then did I realize that he was well versed with the Siddhas too. We quickly engaged in our favourite talk - that of the Siddhas and how the music album "Agathiyar Geetham" came to be produced.
